Drum Kit

The Drum Kit is a collection of untuned percussion instruments, typically comprised of a Bass Drum (or "Kick Drum"), Snare Drum, Tom-Toms, Hi-hat and Cymbals.

 

All four limbs are used to play the various drums, helping to develop hand-eye and foot-eye co-ordination. The drum kit is the driving force to almost all contemporary musical styles, meaning that all drummers develop into natural born leaders-from-the-back.

Drums Kits can be electric or acoustic. Electric is certainly more popular with the neighbours, but acoustic kits have a more 'natural' sound and playability.
